9º Festival Multicultural de Benissa

FRIDAY 5TH OCTOBER

7:30 p.m. to 01:00 a.m. Exhibition of stamps from around the world by the philatelic and numismatic Association of Benissa. Send your postcard from the multicultural festival!

7:30 p.m. Gathering of country representatives in front of the Town Hall. The Parade will move toward the Main Square accompanied by “doçaina i tabalet” (local folkloric music)

8:00 p.m. Official inauguration of the 9th MULTICULTURAL FESTIVAL OF BENISSA, in the main square of Benissa. Flag raising and presentation of the participant countries.
8:30 p.m. Inauguration of and visits to the pavilions by civic authorities, members of the Organizing Commission and country representatives. Exhibition of crafts, photographs, music and gastronomy in the Paseo Dolores Piera will commence.
9:00 p.m. Table of experiences on the stage of the Dolores Piera Park.

10:00 p.m. - 01:00 a.m. DJ.
1:00 a.m. Closing of the pavilions.n el escenario del Parque Dolores Piera.

SATURDAY 6TH OCTOBER

12:00 p.m. Opening of the pavilions. Exhibition of crafts, photographs, music and gastronomy in the Paseo Dolores Piera.
12:30 p.m. Parade of the participant countries in typical costumes which will leave from the exhibition area and cross the center of Benissa accompanied by “dolçaina i tabalet” (folkloric music).
6:00 p.m. Performance by the group Zespol Piesni and Tañca Ziemi Hrubieszowskiej (traditional music and dances) from Poland.

6:55 p.m. Performance by the group Luz del Amanecer (typical dances) representing Ecuador.
7:15 p.m. Performance by the group Sabor Latino (typical dances) from Colombia
7:35 p.m. Performance by the Centro Cultural Boliviano group with the dance "Llamerada" representing Bolivia.
7.47 p.m. Performance by the group Sabor Latino (typical dances) from Colombia
8:00 p.m. Performance by the Salay Jatun Masis Group, Valencia Branch representing Bolivia.
8.12 p.m. Performance by the group Aires de mi Tierra (typical dances) from Chile.
8.57 p.m. Flamenco performance and dance by the Ballet Arraigo of España.
